
Jessica Ringston is a freshman flutist and piccoloist at the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of music where she is pursuing degrees in undergraduate flute performance and arts management. Jessica has served as principal flutist of the Long Island Youth Orchestra and the Nassau-Suffolk Performing Arts Wind Symphony, where she had opportunities to perform alongside established performers, including Joseph Alessi, Ed Joffe, and Stanley Drucker. Additionally, she performed as a member of the Adelphi University Concert Band for several years. She has been selected to perform in various festivals throughout New York state, such as the Mannes Summer Chamber Intensive, Nassau Music Educators Association All-County, and the Eastern United States Music Camp. This past year, Jessica has been awarded a Merit in Music Award from the Long Island Music Hall of Fame and a Scholar-Artist Merit Award from the Long Island Arts Alliance. In addition to performing, Jessica maintains a private flute teaching studio.
