Hunter Green  is a recent 2018 B.M. graduate from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music. Hunter recently returned from a summer in Europe where he attended the Academie Internationale d'Ete in Nice, France, as student of Julien Beaudiment. In addition, he performed in Graz, Austria, as a flutist of the AIMS Festival Orchestra where he performed Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloe under the acclaimed conductor Marius Stieghorst of the Paris Opera. His summer began at the Domaine Forget Festival (Canada) as a masterclass student of Mathieu Dufour and Philippe Bernard. His past summer festivals have included scholarships to the Orford Music Festival, Aria Music Academy, The Curtis Summerfest, and the Philadelphia International Music Festival. In 2016, he was chosen to perform at the New York Flute Fair for a masterclass by Phillipe Bernold of the Paris Conservatory. As an orchestral flutist, he has performed with the Purchase Symphony Orchestra, as Co-Principal flutist of the Sinfonia Orchestra of Philadelphia, and as guest piccolo player with the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra. His past teachers have included Ronna Ayscue, David DiGiacobbe and Hugh Sung. 
He was a finalist in the 2016 Caprio Young Artist Competition.

Outside of Music he enjoys app development and incorporating modern-day technology into his academic studies.Hunter is also and Eagle Scout. Hunter will begin his studies under Judith Mendenhall at The New School, Mannes for his Master of Music Studies.
