Newly based Colorado flutist, Grace Law is a compelling and versatile performer. Having worked with leading musicians, composers, and conductors in contemporary music as well as performing extensively as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician.As a contemporary artist, Grace is a resident fellow at the Contemporary Performance Institute (CPI) at Brandies University with Composers Conference and is a 2018-2019 season artist with American Modern Ensemble (AME), that focuses on contemporary works by living composers.

At SUNY Purchase College (NY), she curated the flute studio's annual 
FLUTES PLUGGED concerts dedicated to contemporary solo works with an emphasis on electronics, presented in partnership with the Neuberger Museum of Art. With the Purchase New Music Project, Grace has premiered over 20 new works for solo flute and chamber ensemble with the student composers. Recently, Grace recorded the premiere of Robert Paterson's Spring Songs with the American Modern Ensemble and tenor Alok Kumar of the Metropolitan Opera. 

Grace's orchestral performances have taken her to venues such as the New World Center, The DiMenna Center, Arthur Zankel Music Center, Hilbert Circle Theatre, and Royce Hall in Los Angeles. In 2018 Grace performed as Associate Principal Flute in Miami Music Festivals Wagner Institute residency in New World Center and was invited to perform as Associate Principal Flute with the Prague Summer Nights Festival in Czechia. Also, in 2018, she performed with the American Modern Orchestra, specializing in contemporary works and world premieres for orchestra. Grace is an alumna of numerous summer festivals, including; Miami Music Festival, Mostly Modern Festival, Idyllwild Arts Symphony, and Chamber Music Festival, Sewanee Summer Music Festival, FLUTISSIMO Workshop, and the Baylor Flute Seminar. From 2012-2014 she was a member of the esteemed National Honor Orchestra of America.
Recently a 2018 grant recipient from the Friends of Flute Foundation, Grace's accomplishments includes winning the 1st Grand Prize from the FLUTISSIMO! Young Artist Competition, the Purchase Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, and additional prizes from the South Carolina Flute Society, Charleston Music Society, and South Carolina Music Educators Association. Additionally, she has performed for renowned flutists such as; Jeanne Baxtresser, Robert Langevin, Marianne Gedigian, Michael Hasel, Ransom Wilson, Bonita Boyd, Lorna McGhee, Keith Underwood, Benjamin Smolen, Mimi Stillman, Angela Jones-Reus, Christina Smith, and Mercedes Smith. 
As a Master of Music candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder, Grace studies with renowned flutist Christina Jennings. At CU Boulder, Grace is also a Graduate Assistant for the Entrepreneurship Center for Music with composer and program director, Dr. Jeffrey Nytch. She holds a Performer's Certificate Diploma and Bachelor of Music degrees from the SUNY Purchase College Conservatory of Music, respectively, where she studied under Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Artist, Dr. Tara Helen O'Connor. While pursuing her studies at SUNY Purchase College, she held the positions of Graduate Teaching Assistant of Flute, GA to the Coordinator of Classical Division, and GA to Music Administration. Her other teachers include Brook Ferguson and John Samuel Roper.
