
Adeline Debella is a current student at Purchase College-Conservatory in New York, working towards a Master’s degree in Flute Performance, under Dr. Tara Helen O’Connor. She is a recent graduate of Columbus State University’s Schwob School of Music, where she studied with Dr. Andrée Martin. Recently, Adeline was a finalist in the Ocala Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition in Ocala, Florida. She has also participated in the Schwob School of Music’s annual concerto competition for two consecutive years, advancing to both the finals and semi-finals. Additionally, she has earned second place in the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition, second prize in both the Art of Winds & Percussion and Best Mozart Performance divisions of the International Great Composer’s Competition, and was named Outstanding Performer in the Georgia Music Teachers Association Competition. She has attended several summer festivals including The Consummate Flutist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix in Saint-Irénée, Québec, Canada. This summer, Adeline has participated in The Miyazawa Virtual Summer Festival, while also fulfilling marketing, administrative, and technology production duties for SummerFlute and The National Flute Association’s Virtual Summer Series.
